"The were kind of a lot of turmoils in my house and my Nanna , who was an evangelist was there and I just remember her sitting and talking to me, layings her hands on me and saying "Everything's gonna be alright,you gonna get through this , your dreams are gonna come true" and its like who even knew what my dreams were back then, but one thing I do know is that music has always been closely linked to spirituality for me and I know that without it I never would have gotten through any situation in my life and Im just grateful to God for giving me this gift..."
